Broken
.
I lash out,
I viciously attack my foe,
I violently prey on his weakness!
.
Like a rag-doll I toss him around.
.
My feet meet his head,
His head meets my fists,
And my fists dance their dance!
.
He attacks back,
He gives it his all!
.
But I am oblivious to his blows,
They have no meaning to me,
They just make me thirstier!
.
A trickle of his blood hits the pavement,
I send him following it down fast,
Followed by my feet!
.
My hand reaches down,
I help him to his feet,
I help him stand up.
.
Only so that I am not hitting a sitting duck!
.
My mind is savage,
I have lost all human emotions,
I have abandoned all reason.
.
I have become an animal,
And He bites back at me!
.
He roars at me loud and viciously,
But he asks for peace!
.
He swings and kicks out,
And he pleads, “Don’t hit me!”
.
It will come to an end,
And there will be no winner,
There will just be, two broken Men!
