Sun

Sun

.

I feel the sun shining down,

I feel its heat on my skin,

Soft warm sensation!

Eyes closed,

I absorb the sunshine!

93 million miles away,

But it feels no further than 3 feet away,

It’s warmth burning my skin,

Browning my skin,

Like a chicken in a moderate oven!

My skin protected by Earth’s atmosphere,

Except for the leakage in the Ozone layer,

As in: Oh-Shit Zone!

I feel the sun shining down on me,

This planet perfectly positioned,

In the ‘Not-Too-Hot’ – ‘Not-Too-Cold’ section of space!

Bang Smack in perfect position in this solar system,

And the tilt in our Earth provides the seasons of our sun,

Our sun that shines down on me!

Warming my skin,

Touching my skin,

Heating my inner-being!

Lighting up my world,

Adding blueness to my daytime sky,

Blinding my eyes when I look at it!

So far away,

But yet I feel its heat on my skin,

How much closer could it possibly be!

I feel the sun shining down,

I feel its heat on my skin,

Soft warm sensation!
